AKC FETCH Program Prep
In AKC FETCH your dog will fetch toys, balls, or bumpers to earn noncompetitive titles. In this class we will learn the rules of all four levels of competition, practice for trials, and make sure you and your dog know how to train the retrieve and how to qualify in a trial. 4 one-hour sessions, $100.

Advanced Puppy
Advanced Puppy is a class for young or unexperienced dogs that builds skills that are needed for loose leash walking, reliable recalls, obedience, and more. It teaches the handler to be a more precise trainer and advances the dogs toward good neutral social behaviors and towards mastering the criteria for the CGC.

Nosework Introduction- Pt 1
This is the first class for the introduction of nosework. In this class your dog will be encouraged to search for food in an independent, confident manner. The handler will learn how to work the dog without interrupting or interfering with the dog’s process.

AKC STAR Puppy
STAR puppy is generally for dogs 6 months or younger and their owners. It is a program designed by the American Kennel Club to help educate both puppies and owners in order to improve their lives together. The topics covered in the STAR curriculum can be found at www.akc.org
The class is a mix of classroom information, direct instruction to your dog, practice, and demonstrations of everything from recalls to nail trims and grooming.

Nosework: Continuing to Odor
This is the third class in the Nosework sequence. Dogs in this class should have had Intro pt 1 and Intro Pt 2. In this class dogs will continue working toward eager, confident, independent searches in a variety of environments.

Nosework Intro- Pt 2
Introduction Pt 2 is the second class in a series of classes in canine scentwork. In this class the dogs continue to learn to love the search, build their confidence, and work independently of their handler. We will give the dogs experiences in different types of searched (interiors, vehicles, exteriors, containers) and build toward the introduction of odor. Dogs in this class should have had Intro-1 or approval of instructor.

CGC: AKC Canine Good Citizenship
The CGC prep class is broken into two classes although you and your dog may only need to take one! CGC-A is the basic practice and troubleshooting class. Testing will be arranged at the completion of the class. Dog and handler teams that need more practice can take CGC-B after CGC-A where the focus will be on what each dog needs to complete the requirements for the CGC. Testing will be arranged but a small fee may be required to compensate the CGC evaluator. For info on the requirements of the AKC CGC program visit www.akc.org. Each class is six weeks and the cost is $180.
